项目以打造“未来航空物流城市”、“多中心物权服务港”、“第四方物流信息枢纽”为核心议题展开。通过对空港物流产业相关案例与历史进行深入研究，提出了适合宁波西枢纽物流园区的未来发展模式，即形成以空港为核心，培育涵盖物流信息系统设计研发的国际物流信息中心、商品批发交易与电子商务结合的第四方物流园区，发展航空快件运转、货物转运服务以及保税物流服务三类模式，构建包含货运、代理商、第三方物流公司、物流咨询系统、保险、陆空联运等方面的完整产业链。城市设计方面，综合考虑了空港诸多限制性因素与功能分区，合理布局建筑体量与高度，满足定位对于城市功能及形象的要求。
The project focuses on building a “future aviation logistics city”, a “multi center property rights service port”, and a “fourth party logistics information hub” as its core issues. Through in-depth research on relevant cases and history of airport logistics industry, a future development model suitable for Ningbo West Hub Logistics Park has been proposed. It forms an international logistics information center with the airport as the core. It cultivates a combination of logistics information system design and development, commodity wholesale trading and e-commerce in a fourth party logistics park. There are three types of models: air express operation, cargo transfer services, and bonded logistics services, aiming to build a complete industrial chain including freight, agents, third-party logistics companies, logistics consulting systems, insurance, land air intermodal transportation, etc. In terms of urban design, various restrictive factors and functional zoning of the airport have been comprehensively considered, and the building volume and height have been reasonably arranged to meet the requirements of positioning for urban function and image.
